On-Line Refunds and Return Policy:

  • Your on-line purchase is eligible for return within 30 days of purchase.
  • All returns require a Return Authorization Number. The RMA number must be printed on the outside of the return shipment. Please complete our online Return Authorization Form from your Orders page or call us at 1-417-720-1756.
  • If you purchased merchandise at jamesriverarchery.com, your packing slip is your receipt. You may return the merchandise to James River Archery by parcel carrier/USPS at the address below for a refund of the purchase price, less any applicable shipping or other online charges (unless you are eligible to receive a refund of such charges), using the original packing slip provided by James River Archery with your purchase or a copy of the packing slip available at jamesriverarchery.com:

  • James River Archery will issue refunds after it has received and inspected the returned merchandise.
  • James River Archery will refund shipping charges for defective merchandise or merchandise damaged in transit: If you purchased merchandise at jamesriverarchery.com and it is defective, arrives damaged, or is not the product that you ordered, please contact James River Archery so that you may return the merchandise to James River Archery by parcel carrier/USPS for a refund, including all shipping costs.
  • Ammunition: All ammunition sales are final, and James River Archery cannot accept any returns or exchanges.
  • Bows & Cross-Bows: All on-line bow and crossbow sales are final.

Custom Merchandise: Special or personalized orders, close-outs, specials, cut arrows/shafts, etc. may not be returned under any circumstance other than to replace an item due to defective product.

In Store Refunds and Return Policy:

  • With a receipt: If you purchased merchandise from James River Archery and have a receipt, James River Archery will give you a refund of the purchase price or an exchange of the merchandise.
  • Without a receipt: If you purchased merchandise from James River Archery and do not have a receipt, we will give you a merchandise credit equal to the current price of the merchandise in the store, or an exchange of the merchandise.
  • Returns to a store without a receipt require identification: James River Archery requires valid government identification for all returns without a receipt.
  • Returned merchandise must be resalable: Except if there is a product defect or other performance issue, returned merchandise must be resalable (no material or visible wear or usage), in original packaging, and with all paperwork, parts, and accessories.
  • James River Archery issues refunds based on the original payment tender: All refunds issued by James River Archery for returned merchandise will match the original payment tender. Customers will receive cash refunds for cash purchases (Any cash refund of a $100 or more may be paid by check and mailed from our general office), check purchases will be refunded by a check after a mandatory 10 business day waiting period, credit to the appropriate card for debit and credit card purchases, and merchandise credit for gift card purchases or any return without a receipt.
  • Ammunition: All ammunition sales are final, and James River Archery cannot accept any returns or exchanges.
  • Bows & Cross-Bows: All bow and crossbow sales are final.
  • Custom Merchandise: Special or personalized orders, close-outs, specials, cut arrows/shafts, etc. may not be returned under any circumstance other than to replace an item due to defective product.
  • Gift Cards: Customers cannot redeem James River Archery gift cards for cash, and lost, stolen, or altered cards cannot be replaced.

How can I return merchandise purchased at James River Archery?

  • If the item was purchased at James River Archery, you may return it to us within 30 days of purchase.
  • James River Archery reserves the right to refuse the return of any product that is used, damaged or un-sellable for any reason.

Warranty Policy:

Defective merchandise is warranted under the manufacturer’s warranty policy coverage. Please contact the manufacturer directly or call us for assistance in the event of a manufacturer’s defective product. We will process the warranty under the guidelines of the manufacturer as quickly as possible. All merchandise is warranted by the manufacturer; not James River Archery. Most manufacturers require return of a defective item for evaluation for repair or replacement according to their policies and will not authorize us to immediately replace defective items. We will offer every assistance available to us; however we cannot offer a refund for defective merchandise unless authorized from the manufacturer.
