Description

One riser, 14 to 30 inches of draw length, and 10 to 70 pounds of draw weight. That span is the whole argument for this bow. A young archer starting at 14 inches and 15 pounds and a full-grown adult at 29 inches and 70 pounds can shoot the same rig—no new bow, no new limbs, just adjustment as they grow into it.

Bear's improved dual cam system and 75% let-off give it a draw cycle that stays smooth across that entire range. A 30-inch axle-to-axle length with a 6.25-inch brace height keeps it forgiving while staying compact enough to handle in a blind or a stand. Arrows leave it at up to 315 fps.

For a growing archer, that range buys years. Start at a weight they can hold steady, add a few pounds at a time as they build strength, add draw length as they grow—the bow never becomes the limiting factor. Most youth bows get outgrown in two seasons. This one does not.

For everyone else, the appeal is simpler: this is a lot of bow for the money. A 315 fps dual cam rig with a 6.25-inch brace height and a full accessory kit lands well under what comparable performance usually costs. New archers get a bow they will not outgrow in skill before they outgrow it in spec, and experienced shooters get real speed and a forgiving platform without spending flagship money.

WHAT COMES IN THE RTH PACKAGE

RTH stands for ready to hunt, and the kit is a real one rather than filler: an IMS V-Biscuit rest, a Picatinny-mounted Fatal 4 sight, a 5 Spot arrow quiver, a Snubnose stabilizer, a Radical peep sight, and a wrist sling. Priced individually, those accessories account for a serious share of what the complete package costs. They ship in the box rather than installed, so the bow arrives as a complete kit waiting to be built around whoever is going to shoot it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is the Bear Legit MAXX RTH for?
Three groups, for different reasons. Growing archers, because the 14 to 30 inch draw range and 10 to 70 pound weight range mean the bow keeps fitting them for years instead of seasons. New archers, because it delivers real hunting performance without the flagship price tag—no reason to overspend before you know what you want. And experienced shooters looking for high performance on a budget, whether that is a second rig, a backup, or simply a bow that shoots 315 fps for a fraction of what that number usually costs.

Is it ready to hunt out of the box?
Not straight out of the box. The package includes everything the bow needs, but the accessories ship uninstalled—the rest and sight have to be mounted, the peep tied into the string at your anchor, and the draw length and weight set to you. Then it needs paper tuning and sighting in. That is normal for an RTH package and it is work worth having done properly. Bring it to us or any competent pro shop and it will shoot the way it was designed to.

Can I adjust the draw length myself?
The Legit MAXX is built to be adjusted without a bowpress, but draw length and draw weight changes can affect tuning, and peep position. Unless you are experienced in properly setting up and tuning a bow, we always recommend taking it to a competent pro shop for custom tuning. Guessing at it is how a well-set-up bow starts throwing fliers.
